This e-course is the first one in a series of five offered in the framework of The SUMP Learning Programme, and is dedicated primarily to a selected group of cities that applied in the project's support mechanism. The course is covering topics like analysis and diagnosis of the local mobility situation and planning processes, mobility vision, objectives and priorities, and guidelines on the starting steps in developing an own local SUMP.

Small cities and towns have different strategic planning needs than big cities and metropolitan areas. It is not seldom to meet clusters of small cities that provide a cooperation example when they join efforts in shaping a viable sustainable mobility system that covers a wider areal. This e-course, the second one in the SUMP Learning Programme, is dedicated primarily to a selected group of small and medium-sized cities that applied in the project's support mechanism.
