Many cities struggle with implementing their SUMP. This course explains the foundations of how planning authorities can overcome the barriers and how action planning is key to achieve this. The Course 6 will help planners and decision describe and gain approval for selected measures and break the measures into actions and plan the implementation in more detail. The course will also address other crucial success factor in the SUMP process – monitoring and evaluation. Monitoring and evaluation both the of the planning process and the measure implementation are crucial to the effectiveness of a SUMP. Lastly, the course will give tips for managing the implementation process to ensure good coordination among all parties involved.
