SUMP learning programme for mobility practitioners
Welcome to the SUMP learning programme for mobility practitioners!
The SUMP Learning Programme for mobility practitioners consists of 7 e-courses. E-learning is a great way to learn from a topic and improve your skills directly from your desk. The e-courses are available any time and for free for anyone interested. They will guide you through the SUMP cycle and help you to develop and implement SUMP in your local context. You do not need to have a strong background in sustainable urban mobility planning to participate in the courses.
tackle different phases in the SUMP process starting from how to initiate a
Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) and prepare a SUMP vision in cooperation
with various stakeholders, elaborate the SUMP strategy and select SUMP measures
and on how to finally implement SUMP. Each course contains 4-7 modules and
concrete case examples from European cities. All courses also include exercises
that help to review your city’s own SUMP practices and practice what you have
just learned and links to useful webinars. The e-courses complement the Guidelines for developing and
implementing a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (2nd edition).
