This webinar aimed to provide an understanding of what Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are, why they are important, and how they are used to measure urban logistic solutions and initiatives. Choosing the most relevant and actionable KPIs is essential to ensure their alignment with strategic city goals, and their practicability and effectiveness to facilitate monitoring and evaluation. This webinar showcased the insights, challenges and solutions identified within the DISCO project and DISCO Living Labs to effectively address KPIs as a crucial step in monitoring DISCO implementation. The KPI dashboard developed within the project will also be shown.

This session is particularly targeted to policymakers, decision-makers and city representatives who are in a similar process, soon will conduct a similar activity, and in general, anyone who is interested in learning from the experience within the DISCO project.

The webinar began with an introduction to KPIs, their rationale, importance, connection to sustainability goals and the process followed within DISCO to select the core KPIs. Following we reflected on KPIs measurement methods and sustainability aspects along with showcasing the DISCO KPIs dashboard. To conclude the session, the Thessaloniki Living Lab shared their experience in defining KPIs including challenges and lessons learned.
