Data processing and analysis
Once you have collected your data, the next step is to think about how best to analyse it.
1. Getting outside help
A great deal of valuable information can be extracted from raw data, but this is best done by someone with a background in statistics. We recommend employing a statistician or subcontracting a company with experience in statistical analysis to do the analysis for you.
However, if you do this, it is not enough to bring them in at the stage of data analysis. It is important to engage the company or statistician at the stage of questionnaire design. In this way, they can advise you on the most appropriate design to get the information needed for your analysis.
