1. Case example: Dortmund, Germany
In 2009, Dortmund‘s urban planners decided to focus their electromobility project on a single city district. Over the course of the three-year project, they undertook a broad participation process: they not only took into account the major actors, but they also approved the positions of 14 different actors in the process. When the three-year pilot project was done, they expanded the project and its range.
