Open data: how can cities make the best use of it?
Description Target audience
This course provides an overview of open access data including the key benefits and associated costs. It defines the requirements for open data and address city-specific issues. The course provides lessons learned from cities that have already implemented an open data policy and helps you to answer the question, “Can it work in my city?” [SOLUTIONS, 2014] Practitioners in local administrations across Europe with limited knowledge of the range of issues surrounding open data.

Integration of urban nodes in the TEN-T corridors
Description Target audience
The study on improving the efficiency of the transport system in urban nodes of the Trans-European transport core network contributed strongly to further develop the urban dimension of the TEN-T. This online course, which is available to all interested European urban nodes, contains facts, findings, recommendation and, above all, inspiration which could help them become more aware of the opportunities arising by being part of the TEN-T core network. [Urban Nodes, 2016] Those city authorities that are interested in their city's role as an urban node and improving the transport efficiency of their urban node of the TEN-T core network.

How to better integrate urban nodes into TEN-T Networks?

This e-course is about how to improve the efficiency of the transport system in an urban node of the TEN-T core network. Description Target audience
Proposed measures, actions and milestones towards the White Paper goal on high-speed rail: "By 2050, complete a European high-speed rail network. Triple the length of the existing high-speed network by 2030 and maintain a dense railway network in all Member States. By 2050, the majority of medium-distance passenger transport should go by rail." Relevant for companies, associations, NGOs that are involved with EU policy making related to European rail infrastructure.
